IMPORTANT UPDATE RE EARLIER START TIME OF THE SUNDAY MARCH 3RD.

FREETIME CONCERT

Please can you note that In order to allow the Band more time for their journey back to catch the boat in Hull we are bringing their SUNDAY MARCH 3rd  Concert  forward  now to  play from 1pm. to 4 p.m. in place of  time as advertised in the Fixture Card of  1.30 p.m.  to 4.30p.m.

May we take this opportunity of wishing everyone of our loyal and dedicated, much appreciated followers a most happy and joyful New Year that is full of all that you wish yourself and much, much more besides. We really do sincerely look forward to welcoming as many of you as is possible to the first of our 2024 ‘Grandiose Joyous Jazz Jamborees,’ that will be held throughout the year featuring only the best Jazz Ensembles in the land. You really do have much to look forward to in the year to come as far as your Jazz related social life is concerned.

I am afraid that we received some extremely sad news just after Christmas regarding the sudden untimely  passing of our long standing ‘Pie Man’, the much vaulted and loved ‘Butcher Burnham.’ We offer our sincere condolences to his family and numerous customers all of whom were much valued friends. Hopefully production of his famed pies will continue unabated for your enjoyment as the Burnham Family intend that it shall !

It is that time of the year once again that I make my plea for any uncherished and unwanted Christmas Presents to find a new home and make their way into the vaults that are used exclusively for the storage of Raffle Prizes for the Club. It helps you solve a problem and it most certainly helps your Club with its battle to keep its portals open! Please continue to support your local and not so local Jazz Clubs whenever possible to try and enable our music to survive!

Kindly Regards and Happy Jazzing

Roger
